The Knights of Columbus Scholarship

The Knights of Columbus Scholarship of St. Joseph Parish, Council #6264, is awarded to an eighth grader in recognition of academic achievement, participation in extra curricular activities, community service, recommendations and an essay. The recipient of this scholarship receives a bond that is given at graduation.

Nikki San Agustin Scholarship

Dr. and Mrs. Norman San Agustin established a scholarship in 1989 in memory of their daughter, Nikki San Agustin. It is awarded annually to a student entering the eighth grade at St. Joseph School who best exemplifies the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social attitudes and values of the St. Joseph community. This scholarship has a monetary award that is used toward the student’s tuition. A panel of administration and faculty determines the selection.

Lance Cpl. Andrew Lubrano Scholarship

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lubrano established the Lance Cpl. Andrew Lubrano Scholarship in 1991 in memory of their son, Lance Corporal Andrew William Lubrano, USMC. This is an annual award presented to a male student who will be entering the seventh grade at St. Joseph School and who best exemplifies the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social attitudes and values of the St. Joseph community. This scholarship has a monetary award that is used toward the student’s tuition. A panel of administration and faculty determine the selection.

Father Lasch Scholarship

The Father Lasch Scholarship was established in 2005 by a St. Joseph Parish family. It is given to a boy and girl in the eighth grade class who best exemplifies qualities of Christian leadership and character in terms of the example they set for others. This scholarship has a monetary award that is given at graduation. A panel of administration and faculty determine the selection.

Pope John Paul II Scholarship

The Kearney Family established the Pope John Paul II Scholarship in 2006. The scholarship will be awarded each year to a seventh grade student who will be entering the eighth grade at St. Joseph School, and who best exemplifies the qualities, behavior, and character of John Paul II. Along with a book chronicling the life of John Paul II, this scholarship has a monetary award that is used toward the student’s eighth grade tuition. A panel of administration and faculty determine the selection.

The Peter G. Cavalero Memorial Scholarship

St. Joseph School established The Peter G. Cavalero Memorial Scholarship in 2008. This scholarship honors the memory of Peter G. Cavalero, a graduate of St. Joseph School in 2004. The scholarship recognizes an eighth grade student who shares the many wonderful qualities that Peter possessed: kindness and gentleness, unwavering character, quiet strength, and Christian leadership. The recipient receives a plaque and a bond. A panel of administration and faculty determine the selection.

Serena Petrocelli Scholarship

Mrs. Ann Petrocelli established this scholarship in 2008 in memory of her daughter, Serena. It is given to a female student who will be entering the seventh grade at St. Joseph School and who best exemplifies the intellectual, spiritual, physical and social attitudes and values of the St. Joseph School community. This scholarship has a monetary award that is used toward the student’s tuition. A panel of administration and faculty determine the selection.
